MEMBERSHIP INVESTMENT
The list below determines how your annual fair share membership investment is calculated. Dues are determined by the size and type of business, so please include ALL employees when calculating your investment, not just those who are likely to attend Chamber events.

General Membership
   
$250.00 for one Employee
   
$295.00 plus $6.50 per Employee for 2-10 Employees
    $295.00 plus $6.00 per Employee for 11-20 Employees
    $295.00 plus $5.50 per Employee for 21-40 Employees
    $295.00 plus $5.00 per Employee for 41-100 Employees
    $295.00 plus $4.50 per Employee for over 100 Employees
    Part-time Employees at 1/2 the rate

Non-Profit
   
Base membership $295.00. Fees are negotiable or larger non-profits.

Startup/Home Based/Small Office Business
   
$160.00 first year, regular $295.00 starting second year.

Financial Institutions
    Chamber area banks - $15.00 per million in deposits as the end of the last
    fiscal year. Non Chamber area banks - Minimum of $500.

Professionals
   
1 Professional at $300.00
    2 Professionals at $400.00
    3 Or more Professionals at $150.00 each

Hotel/Motel/Apartment
   
$295.00 for the first 10 unites, $3.00 each additional unit.

Retired Member
    $100.00 - A retired member receives mailings, is listed only as a retired
    member, is not sent referrals, and is a non-voting member.

Additional Business under the same ownership: %50 discount on the smaller business, but a fee not less than the base membership fee.

Businesses must pay for their membership investment when applying to become a member of the Chamber. Please send in check made payable to: Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, 87 Winter Street, Haverhill, MA 01830 or call 978-373-5663 with credit card information.

 



MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

This Membershipp Application Profile will be used to compile your business listing in our Chamber membership file, chamber publications, and  our Membership Directory.  The information is distributed to households and businesses in the area, as well as nationwide to people and businesses considering relocating to the area, and is used by the Chamber staff when making referrals.

Please provide as much information as possible. Any literature or brochures may be mailed, emailed or dropped off at our offices so that we can keep them on file for reference.  Restaurants should include a menu and seating capacity, hotels/motels should provide information on their facilities and number of rooms, retailers should list hours, manufacturers their product lines, etc.

Please use this same form to submit changes and updates to the Chamber.

Your membership investment to the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce is not tax deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes, but may be deductible as an ordinary business expense.  A portion of the dues, however, is not deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense to the extent that the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce engages in state or federal lobbying.  The non-deductible portion of the dues is 5%.
