 Businesses Of The Month & Year Awards
The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce Membership Services Committee will host its 22nd Annual Small Business Awards Breakfast on Feb. 10, 2012 at Renaissance Golf Club, 377 Kenoza Street in Haverhill, MA. The event will run from 7:30 a.m.- 9:30 a.m. Tickets are $30 per person or $275 for a table of 10.
Featuring Keynote Speaker: Massachusetts State Treasurer Steve Grossman.
The Membership Services Committee holds this event to recognize member businesses that have been active in the Chamber and the community throughout the year. The breakfast will honor the eleven businesses that received the “Business of the Month” awards for 2011. They are as follows:
January - Angles & Art of Haverhill
February - Positive Images Gallery 61
March - ActivMed Practices & Research
April - Tracy Forrestall / Progression, Inc.
May - Haverhill Bank
June - McDermott & Company Marketing
July/August - United Business Machines, Inc.
September - The Inside View LLC, Interior Designs
October - Servpro Cleaning & Restoration / Mary Ellen Lawlor
November - Bank of New England
December - Whittier Health Network
In addition to these businesses the Chamber will also recognize annual award recipients who have supported the Chamber and their community in 2011 and who have acted as leaders in their respectful categories. The Membership Services Committee has expanded the award categories from five to thirteen, considering all of the businesses who have prospered during the difficult economic climate and who have made an impression in their industries. These award winners are as follows:
