Calling ALL Greater Haverhill Singers! Haverhill Idol RETURNS This Spring

The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the beloved Haverhill Idol competition will once again be a part of their spring festival. In partnership with HC Media, The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce will be hosting auditions for the Haverhill Idol competition on two Saturdays: April 4^th and April 11^th. To be registered for a “time slot” singers must complete a Haverhill Idol application. All auditions will be booked and contestants notified at least 7 days prior to their scheduled time slot. Haverhill Idol is a part of KidsArtFEST, which allows children and teens from the community to compete for the title. KidsArtFEST is one of the best Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire family events. Every year, many children and teenagers audition for the opportunity to be among the chosen few honored with the title of Haverhill Idol in both a Junior and Senior Idol Division (first, second, and third place).

Students who are signed up to participate in the audition must be prepared to sing one song without accompaniment in front of a panel of judges. All decisions made are final. Finalists will be notified via telephone. Water will be given out and all contestants will be videotaped during their performance. You may purchase your audition tape. Taping of auditions will be broadcasted via Haverhill Community Television just before KidsArtFEST.

All finalists will compete on stage at KidsArtFEST Saturday, May 2^nd at Post Office Square in Haverhill, MA. Look out for more information on the Chamber website prior to the show.
