CHAMBER UPDATES BUSINESSES AND CONSUMERS ON ENERGY POLICY, COST-SAVINGS PROGRAMS & EFFICIENCY

Updated FlyerThe Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the first Energy Summit in the greater Haverhill area for business owners and consumers. Attendees will be updated on the newest policies and regulations from the Massachusetts Department of Energy, how they will impact business and what can be done to improve efficiency, and lower costs of energy consumption. Speakers for the morning include: Secretary Matthew Beaton, Massachusetts Dept. of Energy and Environmental Affairs; Quincy Vale, MassAmerican Energy; and Marcy Reed, President of National Grid in Massachusetts.

In addition the event will include: vendors from across the spectrum, including alternative energies and newest technologies in the mainstream and green energy markets; E-cycling event (all IT related electronics) can be recycled that morning for a small donation (full list of accepted items available); SHRED DAY business and personal documents can be brought to be destroyed for a small donation.

The event is scheduled for Thursday April 22, 2015 from 7:30-10:30 AM at the Merrimack Valley Golf Club. A full breakfast will be served. Tickets are $25 per person. Seating is limited and RSVPs are required. This event is being presented through generous support of Holy Family Hospital and Covanta Energy.
