Greater Haverhill Chamber Prepares to Honor Award Winners at 99th Annual Dinner

The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that plans for the 99^th Annual Dinner are well under way. This milestone event will be a time to honor the winners of the Charles E. Billups Award, Jerry Loy Award, Community Leader award and the Chamber Service award. The event has been schedule for Thursday, June 4 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at DiBurro’s Function Facility in Haverhill.

Each year this special event is provided to the membership and surrounding community as a way of celebrating the accomplishments of the Chamber, its membership and the communities it serves. In addition, it is a moment to introduce our incoming Directors. Most importantly, it is a vehicle for recognizing outstanding business leaders vital to the viability of our chamber and our professional community. This hugely popular event will feature a prime rib dinner, Hollywood themed entertainment and a keynote address from Angela Peri of Boston Casting. Peri has cast thousands of national, regional and local productions from feature films to commercials and industrials. A few notable works include: The Fighter, Seth Macfarlane’s TED, The Proposal, Here Comes the Boom, and Labor Day.

About Angela Peri
With 30 years casting experience in the Boston area, Angela Peri, C.S.A., is the owner and founder of BOSTON CASTING. A member of the Casting Society of America and an original member of the Massachusetts Production Coalition, Angela founded Boston Casting in 1991, and has cast thousands of national, regional and local productions from feature films to commercials and industrials. Angela is the recipient of the 2009 Imaginnaire Award for her vast contributions to the New England production community, and is featured in the Bill Brett book Boston, Inspirational Women. An Italian-American, Angela received the 2014 I Migliori in Mens et Gesta Award from the Pirandello Lyceum for her important contributions to her profession, society and the community. As a retired actress and stand up comedienne, Angela continues to infuse her own brand of humor and experience into causes she is passionate about. Angela lends her expertise to organizations and events related to autism, and is the recipient of the 2013 President’s Award from The Federation of Children with Special Needs, and the 2008 Margaret Bowman award for outstanding parent in the autism community.
