Calling All Youth! Haverhill Chamber Seeks Next “Haverhill Idol”

The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce will be hosting auditions for the Haverhill Idol competition on two different Saturdays: March 19^h and March 26^th. All local youth are invited to attend one of these sessions and create a lasting impression on their road to the “Idol Stage!”

Haverhill Idol is a part of KidsArtFEST, which allows children and teens from the community to compete for the title. KidsArtFEST is one of the best Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire family events. Every year, many children and teenagers audition for the opportunity to be among the chosen few honored with the title of Haverhill Idol (first, second, and third place).

Students who are signed up to participate in the audition must be prepared to sing one song without accompaniment in front of a panel of judges. All decisions made are final. Finalists will be notified via telephone. Water will be given out and all contestants will be videotaped during their performance. You may purchase your audition tape. Taping of auditions will be broadcasted via Haverhill Community Television just before KidsArtFEST.

Following the registration process online, a committee member will be in touch about registrants’ time slot. All finalists will compete on stage at KidsArtFEST Saturday, June 4th at Post Office Square in Haverhill, MA. Look out for more information on the Chamber website prior to the show.
