August Art Walk brings live music to every corner!

Haverhill, MA —  Haverhill Art Walk brings live music and more to downtown on Saturday, August 14th, 3-7 pm.

Haverhill will be feeling the tunes at August Art Walk. Heaventown Haverhill will be back hosting a full lineup of music at Washington Square, as well as an open mic at The Switchboard, located at 43 Washington Street. Next door at G’s, you’ll find local duo, The Tims. Hip Hop artists Isvi and Jeff will be making their debut performance at Stem, 124 Washington Street. The popular Hula Hoop Jam at Columbus Park features entertainment by Primitive Rubbish People and Alliance of Fire. Head down Wingate Street to hear live music by Kate Karcz and Jamie Cain posted up at Peddler’s Daughter.

Buttonwoods Museum at 240 Water Street is hosting talented local painter Mark Hayden. Down the street at the recently opened Haverhill Print Café, Cynthia Mwaura will be showing her pottery. Across the street at La Pizza Di Forno, check out the photography of Nick Rao and grab a slice!

Community Action is back with a children’s art show and interactive activities made with household items. Ruth’s House in Lafayette Square is hosting Amy Hamlet and Helen Duncan as their guest artists for August.

The Winged Rabbit showcases work by Jordan Hancock with Sketches and Drips down the street featuring Mandala artist Melissa Venti Morrison. Enter Emerson Street for an intriguing stop at Evens and Oddities, offering Taxidermy art, dissections and specimen work.

Burgess Building at 143-145 Essex Street expands its offerings with an exhibition of work by RiversEdge Photographic Society, as well as open studios with neon artist Nick McKnight, a wheel throwing demo hosted by Lisa Hertel and work by David LeBlanc.

Haverhill Art Walk is coordinated by Hailey Moschella in conjunction with Creative Haverhill to support the local arts community. Haverhill Art Walk is supported by a grant from the Haverhill Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency, as well as the Mass Cultural Council Cultural Districts program.
