 In Member News

MLK-Day of Service-wide Event Details: Monday January 19, 2015 | 11 AM to 3 PM Trinity Episcopal Church | 26 White St | Haverhill, MA 01830 Contact: Katie Berry, Emmaus, Inc. 978-241-3438 | kaitlyn@emmausinc.org[/caption] In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, Emmaus, Inc.  will be hosting a family health fair on January 19, 2015. The health fair will be open to all members of the community and will focus on family health and safety. The event will also include a free hot meal. Emmaus will need the help of dedicated volunteers both before and during the event. We have already secured several health-related organizations to volunteer their time and set up informational booths at the fair. Any additional health organizations are still welcome to register. We are also looking for 15 individual volunteers to assist in packing and sorting personal care items and first aid supplies into Healthy Home Kits that will serve as gifts for the families that attend the health fair. This will likely occur the weekend before Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Additionally, we will need 20 volunteers to cook and serve lunch at the health fair on January 19. Please email Katie Berry at kaitlyn@emmausinc.org to register if you are interested in any of these volunteer opportunities, and a member of our AmeriCorps VISTA team will contact you with more details.]]>
