The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with presenting sponsors Haverhill Bank, announced that winemaker Amy LaBelle, LaBelle Winery, will make the keynote address at the 25th Annual Business Awards Breakfast on February 13, 2015. Each February the Membership Services Committee of the Greater Haverhill Chamber highlight outstanding business achievements, noteworthy community contribution and exceptional industry performance across a variety of trades amongst the member businesses.

This year the chamber will honor thirteen outstanding businesses across thirteen different industries. In addition to the awards presentation, attendees will be treated to a full breakfast buffet and hear remarks from Ms. LaBelle. LaBelle Winery is an award-winning Amherst, New Hampshire winery that specializes in transforming New England fruit into fresh, crisp, fine wine that closely reflects its original fruit.  LaBelle’s innovative wines include palate-pleasing blends of fruits like apple, cranberry, raspberry, blueberry, peach and apricot as well as dry and semi-sweet traditional red and white grape wines and savory cooking wines.

Ms. LaBelle is the founder of and winemaker at LaBelle Winery. She had an “a-ha” moment that spurred her interest in pursuing winemaking while vacationing in Nova Scotia in 2001. After much research, education and hard work she began selling her wines commercially in 2005. Most recently LaBelle Winery has just moved to its new, 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art winery and event center.
