July Business of the Month Awarded to Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital

The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) awards Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital with the honor of the GHCC’s Business of the Month award for July 2016. Whittier Rehab is being recognized for their outstanding commitment to providing high quality specialty care designed for medically complex patients, while also providing consistent support to both the local community and their business partners.

Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital is an acute rehabilitation hospital that is located in the Merrimack Valley to conveniently service patients throughout New England. Whittier is equipped to provide complex medical treatments and procedures to patients who are acutely ill, have multiple complications and those who require specialty care and continuous monitoring, requiring a longer length of stay.

In an effort to recognize outstanding achievement in the Greater Haverhill community, the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce formally identifies a “Business of the Month” approximately every four weeks. This award is given to a Chamber member that is a proven leader in their business or industry and excels in the areas of community involvement, economic growth, customer service and professional relationships.

As an active and integral part of Ward Hill in Haverhill, Whittier is committed to total patient care, professionalism and respect, provided throughout the rehabilitation process. They are also great supporters of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce participating in many events and activities, as well as playing host to meetings, seminars and after-hours events. Administrator Bob Iannaco also serves on the Health & wellness Committee responsible for the community wide Healthy Living Expo each year in downtown Haverhill.

Award winners are recognized in area newspapers highlighting their distinction as Business of the Month, receive a complimentary guest ticket to the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce’s exclusive “Annual Business Awards Breakfast” and are automatically entered into the running for the Annual Business of the Year award. That honor is announced during the annual breakfast which has been scheduled for February 2016.

There is no fee for nominations or applications. Companies may be nominated by any member business. This is a benefit available exclusively to Chamber members.
