THE EAGLE TRIBUNE/ NORTH OF BOSTON MEDIA GROUP HONORED BY CHAMBER WITH AUGUST BUSINESS OF THE MONTH AWARD

Haverhill, MA – In an effort to recognize outstanding achievement in the Greater Haverhill community, the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce formally identifies a “Business of the Month” approximately every four weeks. This award is given to a Chamber member that is a proven leader in their business or industry and excels in the areas of community involvement, economic growth, customer service and professional relationships.

North of Boston Media Group, an award-winning print and digital media company based in North Andover, publishes four daily community newspapers and their affiliated websites: the two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning Eagle-Tribune, The Salem News, the Daily News of Newburyport, and the Gloucester Daily Times, in addition to a Sunday edition and four weekly newspapers. The NOB Media Group also publishes more than a dozen glossy, niche magazines, including North of Boston Business, Haverhill Magazine, Newburyport Magazine, and The Andovers Magazine, as well as a number of special targeted editions, keepsake and special-interest books, and commercial print publications.

Award winners are recognized in area newspapers highlighting their distinction as Business of the Month, receive a complimentary guest ticket to the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce’s exclusive “Annual Business Awards Breakfast” and are automatically entered into the running for the Annual Business of the Year award. That honor will be announced during the annual breakfast in February 2018.

Nominations for Business of the Month can be submitted at any time. Companies may be nominated by any member business. This is a benefit available exclusively to Chamber members.
