Romie Mundy, MD Romie Mundy, MD[/caption] Colorectal Surgeon Romie Mundy, MD will discuss the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer during a free seminar at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. During his presentation titled, Diagnosis, Prevention and Treatment of Colorectal Cancer, Dr. Mundy will talk about how to prevent colorectal cancer, the benefits of colonoscopy and early detection, the best treatment options if colorectal cancer is diagnosed, how it is staged and how clinical staging impacts treatment options, and indications and results of surgical approaches to treatment. The seminar, which is free and open to the public, is from 6-7 p.m.in the first-floor auditorium on the hospital’s Methuen campus. Light refreshments are served, and registration is required.
