crewbarrecycle_haverhill Haverhill’s newest fitness studio, CREW Barre & Cycle, is set to open later this fall and is celebrating its grand opening with a 5K walk and run on Sept. 10. As CREW’s founder and owner Kristen McVey tells WHAV, Haverhill’s studio will be housed in the downtown Landmark building at 76 Merrimack Street. “We are so excited for our new Haverhill location,” McVey, who also operates CREW Barre & Cycle in North Andover, said. While the studio is still under construction, the facility is expected to offer barre – a mix of yoga, pilates and ballet – and indoor cycling. “Our Haverhill location will feel like an upscale city gym, boasting locker rooms, showers, a blowout bar, fruit infused water and iced cold hand towels post workout,” the owner said. “The style of classes will be a refreshing change for those who enjoy group fitness but have had limited options in town. Our instructors are amazing human beings and a key part of the CREW experience.” Ahead of CREW’s anticipated Oct. 2 opening, members of the community are invited to meet the instructors and fellow gymgoers at the studio’s 5K walk/run on Sunday, Sept. 10. Participants will gather outside the new studio on Merrimack Street at 9 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. race start. An after party celebrating walkers and runners will take place as soon as participants cross the finish line. Click here for tickets to the CREW Classic 5K.
