Salem, NH ~ The purchase of your first home is an important financial decision, one that requires a careful analysis of the total cost of home ownership. The entire home buying process can add unnecessary costs, waste valuable time for all involved and result in undue stressors if done incorrectly. Alleviating the anxiety and providing some valuable insight are the core motivator for the creation of this Q1 Home Buyer Seminar Series. Santo Insurance & Financial Services has teamed with trusted industry experts to benefit the entire Southern NH region.   Santo Insurance, along with Cross Country Mortgage, Sweeney & Sweeney Law, Re/Max Main Street, Re/Max Properties and Keller Williams Realty – Jennifer Frost, will provide these FREE informational meetings to learn more about the various stages of the home buying process. Three separate sessions will be provided this winter and will include a presentation of facts and information followed by a question & answer session.   Topics covered at each include: How to get PRE-APPROVED for a mortgage; Choosing a REALTOR that understands YOUR Needs; Evaluating local market conditions; Negotiating the offer & sale; Conducting the home inspection (Renegotiating if necessary); Reviewing the purchase & sale agreement with an attorney; Submitting a mortgage application & obtaining the commitment; Calculating general buyer closing costs; Acquiring home insurance for your property; Selecting the best level and type of coverage and what to expect at the final walk-thru and preparing for the closing.   Workshops are scheduled as follows: Greater Plaistow Session – January 24, 2017 at Re/Max Main Street, and facilitated by Karen DeVitto, licensed Realtor; Greater Nashua Session – February 15, 2017 at Re/Max Properties, and facilitated by Susan Penta, licensed Realtor; Greater Manchester Session – March 7, 2017 at Keller Williams Realty in Londonderry, and facilitated by Jennifer Frost.
